Problem
Analysts at a large bank needed answers from enterprise data without writing SQL by hand, but the system had to be governed and auditable - this is a regulated environment where a wrong or unsafe query is unacceptable.
Approach
- Translates plain-language questions into SQL against the bank's schema using Azure OpenAI.
- Keeps generated SQL governed and auditable so every query can be inspected and trusted.
- Grounds the model in the data schema so answers stay accurate and on-domain.
- Built to enterprise constraints for a tier-1 GCC banking client.
